Kanyashree Prakalpa Scholarship Application Form K1, K2 & K3

• Category I (K1):  Between 13 to 18 Years of Age 
• Category II (K2):  Between 18 to 19 Years of Age
• Category III (K3): Science stream students will receive Rs. 2500 per month and Arts stream students will receive Rs. 2000 per month.

• Permanent residents of West Bengal.
• The girl students should be unmarried.
• The students must be enrolled in class 8 or above in school/madrassah/equivalent open school/college and regularly attending the educational institution. 
• The family income of the students should not be more than Rs. 1,20,000 per year.
•  However, the girl students who are specially-abled (with a disability of 40% or more) or have lost both parents, or are living in a Home registered under the Juvenile Justice Act, 2000, are also eligible to apply even if their family income is more than Rs. 1,20,000 per year. 
• The girl students must have a bank account before applying for Kanyashree. The eligible candidates can open a ‘Zero Balance Savings Bank Account’ in any nationalized bank or any other bank with direct transfer facility. After sanction, the requisite amount will be transferred directly to the beneficiaries account.

• The applicant must have completed 18 years but not completed 19 years during the time of application.
• The applicant is pursuing education, vocational training or sports activity or is an inmate of any home registered under J.J.Act.
• The applicant is not married.
• The annual family income of the applicant is less than Rupees 1,20,000/- but is waived if the applicant has lost both parents or is physically handicapped or is an inmate of home registered under J.J. Act.

• Only the girls students, who are already registered for K2 scheme, are only eligible for K3 scheme.
• Applicants have to passed Undergraduate degree with at least 45% marks and took admission on any Postgraduate course under any University.
• There is no any maximum age limit to apply for Kanyashree K3 Prakalpa.
• Kanyashree K3 scholarship entertained for University girl students, who are currently pursuing in any of the course as a Postgraduate Degree. On this category, no matter what is the marital status and what is the monthly family income of the applicant.

1. The applicants have to collect the application form from her institution/Nearest School. Annual scholarship forms are printed on light green paper, while the One-Time Grant application forms are printed on light blue paper.
2. The applicants have to fill up the application form carefully by providing some basic details of the applicant, such as personal details, address detail, contact details, school details etc.
3. a) Check the spelling of your name you are going to enter in the application form. It must be same as that of your bank account.b) Please enter your mobile number correctly because you will get updates regarding status of your application on your mobile number entered in the form. c) Put your signature on page 1,2 and 3 of the form. d) Preserve the acknowledgement form for further tracking of your application.
4. Now the application form has to be signed by the several persons.
5. The applicants have to attach the required documents.
6. After filling the application form, the applicants have to submit it along with required documents to her Head Teacher of the institute. Thereafter, the head teacher of the institute will fill the remaining details in, sign it and put an official stamp, tear-off that portion and hand it over to the applicants. The applicants are advised to keep the acknowledgement slip (receipt copy) carefully because it contains the application form number, name of the students and other details provided in the application form. It may require in future cases.

One-Time Password (OTP) Authentication generate a  highly secure one-time passwords ensuring that only the authenticated users are authorized to access the personal information and data relating to her applications.
Process :

• After successful login, the user will be prompt to update her contact details for the first time. Then the Update Now button will be redirect to the “One Time Signup Form”
• Next the “One Time Signup Form” contains Your Name, Designation, Mobile Number etc. The respective user must fill-up the details and all fields are mandatory.
• At this time a One Time accessible password will be sent to the user’s mobile number. 
• User will receive an SMS that contain a verification code.
• The Applicants have to put the code in the specific area in the web screen.
• On successful verification of the mobile number, the user will be redirected to change password page for change the default password. 
• The user can change her password from this section. User must maintain the password policy for update the password successfully. Our advice is to change your password as soon as possible, because it contain your personal information.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR KANYASHREE PRAKALPA SCHOLARSHIP 2018

• Passport size photocopy.
• Any age proof certificate
• Copy of Birth Certificate issued by Municipal or Panchayat authorities and attested by the appropriate certifying authorities or certificate of age issued by the Head of Institution of education or training or institution of higher education or Home registered under J.J. Act where the girl is enrolled. 
• Certificate regarding marital status.
• Income certificate of family
• Special handicapped statement (If applicable) 
• Xerox of the bank passbook first page 
• Certificate from head of the educational Institution regarding age and educational qualification. 
• Declaration by applicant’s parents or guardians in case of scholarship and by applicant in case of one-time grant to the effect that she remains unmarried at the date of application, attested by appropriate certifying authority.
• Declaration of family income by applicant’s parents or guardians attested by appropriate authority. This declaration not required in case the applicant has lost both parents or is physically handicapped or is an inmate of Home registered under J.J. Act.
• Certificate issued by the Head of Institution of education or training or Institution of higher education or sports organization or Superintendent of Home registered under J.J. Act , declaring her enrollment in the institution.
• Declaration by guardian in case applicant has lost both parents, attested by appropriate certifying authority

KANYASHREE SCHOLARSHIP RENEWAL

• Undertakings or declarations made by the applicant or applicant’s parents/guardians may be certified by any of the following: 
• Group A Officer of State Government or of the Government of India who is either posted in the area, or is a resident of the area.
• Member of Parliament, Member of Legislature of the area of residence of the applicant.
• Councillor of ward of Municipal areas, Gram Panchayat Pradhan of the area of residence of the applicant.

After successfully submission of the Kanyashree Prakalpa Scheme application form along with supporting documents, it will be uploaded on the official website of Kanyashree at wbkanyashree.gov.in. After uploading, the application form is in several stages and the applicants can track her application form on the official website through the link.

Once your application form is will be sanctioned by the officers, the amount of the scholarship will be transferred directly to your bank account. The bank will also send a message regarding this to the applicant’s registered mobile number.
